If it was not for my mom who has been a member of Life Time and has entered many 60-Day Challenges, I would never have known about this program. The first day I walked into Life Time, my mom introduced me to her P.T. Trainer, Arianny Washington-Slade. She described the Challenge and I thought this is just what I need to help me gain more respect for my body in terms of health and wellness.  Later that week, I signed up for the Challenge and when they asked me for my nickname I decided to use BethsSon. That was my reference while I walked into the gym and I wanted to honor it!  She has also struggled with weight loss and I thought it would be great for us to partner together to motivate each other to be successful.  There were times she did not feel like going to the gym and I would kick her in the butt, and she did the same for me in the beginning.  It has been a great opportunity to spend some quality time with my mom.  What is even more inspiring is that we both have experienced success.  I love watching my mom lose weight and get stronger and I am sure she feels the same about me. That is why she inspired me to enter the contest.  The funny thing is that her nickname is CarysMom –  A Challenge Partnership to last a lifetime.
