Green Beans with Bacon and Onions

We’ve said it before – Bacon makes everything better, especially green beans!
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups green beans
- 4 strips of bacon
- ½ yellow onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Cut bacon into bite size pieces and cook on stove-top until done, about 10 minutes. Remove excess grease.
- Dice onion and add to pan with bacon pieces. Cook 3-4 minutes until tender, stirring frequently.
- Add green beans and cook 5 – 6 minutes until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper (optional), and enjoy!
